THE GOAL
The aim of my project was to observe the gaming behavior, experiences and preferences of gamers,
and to better understand their needs and wants of them.
Based on the research and analysis, I decided
to design a gaming platform for Web Applications. This project is based on a UX research, to solve problems that users face while using various competitive web based gaming applications.
ABOUT PLAYBOX
PLAYBOX provides gaming services to the users in the form of Web application that enhance the gamer’s experience and gives a user-friendly environment.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Conducted a on site survey and analyzed the result of this research is that the majority of university students, at the age of 19 – 25 years, are more involved with gaming.

ABOUT SYSTEM
The system I created for PLAYBOX aim to enhance gamer's experience according their needs and preferences. Focusing on the important features to solve problems that users face while using various web based gaming applications.
Added unique features like Tournaments updates, performance and statistics, screen capture and revenue generation for the gaming platform via subscription.
THE PROBLEMS
THE SOLUTIONS
User need to purchase games from third party and
sync with cloud service to play. User want to access variety of games in a cost-effective way.
Add GAME PASS as a subscription fee which will includes different genre of games.
User do excessive web searching and switching to organizer’s page tournament to register themselves.
They hope to find upcoming tournament.
Add Tournament details page where user
can check latest esports matches and register
as a team.
Every time user have to enter in game to check the player’s progress. Users want one place where they
can check their game progress and performance of
each game.
Add a feature where player's performance and statistics will be displayed. Whichever games they played recently, will be added to their
MY GAMES list.
Sometimes card payment services not available during purchase from user's side. They want variety
of payment methods.
Important service to add, digital payments methods which are commonly used in India.
User misses out the opportunity to save and share their memorable moments. Users want to capture game highlights where they achieved a good performance.
Add a feature where user can easily capture game highlights using shortcut keys. They don't need to edit full recording.

Subscription based gaming model depends on factors such as the quality of the games offered, the pricing structure, the value proposition for subscribers, and the overall gaming ecosystem provided by the platform.
